About the role:

We seek a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) to join our team. This is a full-time, long-term position with a competitive daily salary of £85-£100. The role has become available as we expand our support team to better serve our students’ needs.

As an SEN TA, you will play a crucial role in helping students who suffer from anxiety or depression, creating a positive and supportive environment where they can thrive. You will work closely with a small class size, ensuring each child receives the attention and care they need.

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs.

• A calm, patient, and empathetic demeanor.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs.

• Assist in creating and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

• Work closely with teachers to implement individualised learning plans.

• Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
