Vacancy Brief:

• Our client is seeking a Night Housing Support Worker on a Temp to Perm basis.
• This vacancy is full time, 37.5 hours per week.
• Working Pattern: 8:30 pm – 8:30 am three nights in a row, and flexibility to work across the week will be required.
• This vacancy is based in Birmingham.
• Excellent pay rate: candidate’s will be paid £12.00 PAYE Or £15.20 per hour Umbrella.
• Candidate must have experience of homelessness prevention of young people in independent living.
• The role is subject to an enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult workforce.
• Full UK Driver’s License and access to a vehicle would be ideal.

The Duties & Responsibilities:

• In this job role, you initiate contact with a young person, their support networks and family. Ensuring young people feel welcome to service.
• You will ensure benefit claims are maintained to maximize young people’s income.
• Part of your job role will be to plan, implement, review, and evaluate interventions to ensure that the young person can understand their support/ recovery plans and take part in self-care
• You will be required to communicate with all involved so they can support the young person with their wellness recovery plan and prepare them to move into residential accommodation.
• Furthermore, as a Night Housing Support Worker, you will need to plan support around the young person’s needs with clear objectives that are reviewed regularly.
