We have a leading provider of early childhood education seeking a Nursery Manager for a lovely setting in the Bedford area. You would be leading a well-trained team in a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

The Nursery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for the children. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood education, and a commitment to creating a safe and positive environment for both children and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of early childhood educators and support staff
• Build strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and the local community
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing ongoing training and development opportunities
• Manage budgets and financial records, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in early childhood education and implement educational programs that meet the needs of each child
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Hold a recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Significant experience in a nursery or early childhood setting, with time in a management role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
