Red Recruitment is recruiting a Fleet Manager in North West London.

The main focus of this role is to act as the main point of contact for all fleet-related issues. You will be contributing to the achievement of the business plan objectives and the efficiency, effectiveness and growth of the organisation.

The salary for this position is £40,000 - £42,000 per annum.

Salary and Package for a Fleet Manager:

  • Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Location: North West London

Key Responsibilities of a Fleet Manager:

  • Working closely with the Operations Manager to develop strategies for improved cost efficiency
  • Ensuring that the company complies with all relevant Operations/Fleet Management legislation's
  • Ensuring an efficient system exists for the regular maintenance of vehicles and equipment, making sure service and repair records are kept as per legal requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining KPIs for fleet operations
  • Maintaining driver hour records and tachographs, including uploading vehicles and drivers within the prescribed time limits

Key Skills and Experience of a Fleet Manager:

  • A CPC qualification is essential
  • Good understanding and knowledge of road transport law and legislation is required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is required
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
  • You should be IT literate
