A fantastic new opportunity to join our clients Quality Assurance Team whilst they are in an exciting period of growth. Reporting to the Quality Manager the successful candidate will be joining our clients dynamic QA team to assist in their efforts to deliver world-class quality to their customers, to continually improve our clients products and services and to raise the profile of Quality within the business

Monday to Friday, Hours: FT hours 35h/pw

Hybrid: Max 2 days per week homeworking. 3 days office Based in Crewkerne, Somerset. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

Main Tasks

• ISO 9001:2015 internal auditing
• ISO 14001:2015 internal auditing
• Raising and managing NCR/RMA cases
• Customer reporting
• Compiling and managing Supplier CARs
• Managing the AVL (Approved Vendors List)
• Ensuring our commitment to Continuous Improvement
• Assisting the QM with any reasonable requests

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

• ISO 9001:2015 qualified or ISO 14001:2015 qualified
• Address and discuss audit issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
• QA experience within a Manufacturing environment (SQE, QE or similar)
• Fluent in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel)
• Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance

Desirable:

Good communicator, both verbal and written

Ability to update procedures and work instructions via ECC

• Team approach to problem-solving (8D) training given
• Able to work independently on internal projects
• Automotive/Aerospace background
• Self-motivated - able to work from own initiative and within a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills
