A modern secondary school in Enfield, North London, is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to provide one-to-one support for students with special needs to start in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience working with special needs students, and can handle pressure and challenging behaviours.

As a SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide personalised support and ensure that students with special needs receive the best possible education and support. This role can be demanding, but it is also highly rewarding, and the ideal candidate should be dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about their work.

You will be working with students with a range of special needs and you will need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach and have a positive attitude and passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.

This SEN TA role starts in September and is initially until Christmas and ikf all is going well, the role will continue for the academic year. After that, there may be a possibility of the role becoming permanent, once you have demonstrated your commitment and dedication.

The salary on offer is £90-100 per day, depending on experience.
