Do you have experience leading audit and accreditation processes, and are attracted to the idea of implementing a new standards framework?
At Weber we are looking for an IMS Manager, to ensure adherence to management system requirements and the efficient functioning of the IMS.
You'll be the 'captain' when it comes to Integrated Management Systems and internal audits for Weber, driving a culture of best practice across cross-functional teams to achieve and maintain accreditations enabling Weber to meet its growth targets.
Working with teams from customer service and sales, to R&D and operations, you'll be the key person in making sure that, using your strong communication skills, that all of the in depth ISO/BES standards translate into business sense; not just telling people what needs doing, but making sure they understand it too.
We push for a culture of continuous improvement, and this role will play a key part in driving that forwards, always looking to raise the bar, areas of improvement, and how we constantly get better when it comes to the services that we deliver.
There is opportunity for hybrid working in this position. Our preference is someone based from our Flitwick site a few days a week, given that is where most of our key functions are based, with some remote working; There will be very occasional travel to our sites in Telford and Ballyclare, a couple of times a year.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in leading audit and accreditation processes, in a cross-functional environment. You'll provide a framework to maintain current and new accreditations, including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, BES6001, BBA & NSAI
- A strong communicator, able to deliver training and educate employees on the IMS and its process
- Project management and change management capabilities - You will be required to lead projects including code for construction product information (CCPI), meaning a good aspect of change management will be involved.
- Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment would be advantageous, but by no means a must have - we'd be open to ideas from other industries.
What you will be doing:
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and improve the companies IMS to meet required standards, promote best practices and ensure growth
- Lead the internal audit team and conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness and compliance of the IMS processes & procedures
- Identify risks and areas for improvement and work closely with department heads to implement corrective actions, preventative measures and new methods of working
- Prepare data required to communicate performance monthly
- Develop and lead the CCPI project to ensure compliance to the relevant clauses
- Develop and deliver training to educate employees on the IMS, it's process and their role/responsibility in maintaining these
