The Company

Our client is a key player within the Currency Handling market sector, manufacturing and supplying Bank Note Validators and Coin Mechanisms into  several Countries and Markets including Gaming, Amusement, Vending and Kiosk.

Currently looking to recruit the newly created vacancy of Technical Sales Manager. Ideally based in the Home Counties or London or South East.

The Role

The role of Technical Sales Manager (TSM) UK & Europe reports to the General Manager and  is responsible for developing new business and new markets within the ASL geographical territories of Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

The TSM is responsible for identifying, where appropriate, new distributors and resellers for areas that require more local support.

Customer satisfaction is a key deliverable of this position and the TSM will work together with all relevant departments to co-ordinate and deliver customer centric solutions and service.

The Candidate

  • Experience selling into Amusement, Gaming, Vending or Kiosk – ideally within Cash Operated/Handling Machines or something similar.
  • Customer focused. The ability to understand the customer and champion on their behalf
  • Relationship management. The ability to manage effectively the relationships of  internal and external partners.
  • Pro-activity. The ability to anticipate future events and to pro-actively ensure issues do not occur. The ability to take responsibility for any occurrence that may compromise the company or the customer.
  • Continuous improvement. The ability to ensure continuous improvement of self, team, customers, processes and systems.
  • Meeting deadlines and prioritisation. The ability to complete numerous tasks within specified times and to prioritise work as necessary
  • Strategic thinking.
  • The ability to think beyond the day to day tasks and to plan and organise around different scenarios for the future
