Salary – Up to £120,000 per annum D.O.E.

Prince are working with a growing, international family run business based in Telford. We are looking for a Finance Director who reports directly to the Managing Director. This role will lead a team of 6 direct reports. This is an important role in the business where you will become a trusted member of the Senior Management Team to support and drive the success of the business. You will have ultimate responsibility for all the group (including international) finance activities. This role will suit a hands-on Finance Director who is looking for a new challenge and wants to make a difference.

Duties will include but won’t be exclusive to:

• Oversee preparation and analysis of month end management accounts.
• Managing and mentoring a team of 6.
• Contribute to the achievement of the company’s business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
• Completion of monthly executive report packs with commentary.
• Review and improve current standard costing model.
• Internal audits.
• Partner other functional departments by providing accurate and timely financial information.
• Manage the year end process including liaising with UK and international auditors.
• Managing P+L and Balance sheet.
• Review, improve and document processes within the finance department.
• Participating in budgeting processes.
• Implementing department KPI’s.
• Manage the company’s cashflow over four currencies.
• Maintain strong relationships with the banks.
• Develop and implement budgeting model.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA). You will need to have previous experience of working in a number 1 finance role.
