Part time Purchasing Administrator

Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a part time Purchasing Administrator to join our client based in Crewe.

The Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Raising purchase orders
  • Creating vendors
  • PO reconciliation
  • Adhering to procurement procedures and policies
  • Operating the purchase requisition system and support managers with purchase order approvals
  • Creating and operating controls to track the progress and any delays within these systems
  • Communicating any changes to the operating guidelines and their application to UK Logistics
  • Collating and analysing data from systems both on and off the Crewe site
  • Producing management reports and analytical charts as and when required
  • Reviewing current and future data collection methods and reports to ensure contained information remains relevant
  • Producing additional requested data and analysis on an ad hoc basis
  • Communicating with the management team of any changes to the controls or the ways in which they are applied and conduct periodical audits.

The Purchasing Administrator will have:

  • Initiative
  • A self-starter attitude
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • At least 1 year's administration experience
  • Fluent in English, MS Office, including Excel, SAP knowledge would be advantageous
  • Functional skills: Organised, business understanding, analytical

Please note that this is a temporary, part time position, working 26 hours per week for approximately 3 to 4 months. This role is a hybrid position.
