Expleo are seeking an Interior / HMI Planning Engineer, to work within a globally successful automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis.

The successful Engineer will be working within the Interior Planning & Cost Performance Team.

Responsibilities of the Interior / HMI Planning Engineer include:

* Gather Inputs including Product Planning Concept, Vehicle Planning Requirements, Vehicle Performance Targets & Ergonomic Requirements
* Vehicle & Component Benchmark & Trend
* Collaborate with Stakeholders to decide & document the Layout of Major Components
* Maintain Alignment between Vehicle / Interior / HMI / CPM / Console / Seat / Luggage Plan Drawings
* Oversee Styling Model Development ensure Styling remains on Budget

Background and experience required for the Interior / HMI Planning Engineer position:

* You will ideally be degree educated
* Good Understanding of the European Customer / Market / Ergonomic / Regulatory Requirements
* Knowledge of how HMI is evolving in EV's to provide a Seamless Customer Experience In / Out of the Car
* Experience of working with Product Planning / Styling whilst ensuring Project Targets are met
* CAD Layout understanding

A full driving licence valid for driving in the UK is essential and flexibility to Travel is required
