Our client, a specialist in producing high performance electric racing vehicles is currently looking for a Build & Test Team Manager. The successful candidate will lead the team responsible for the preparation, build, and delivery of vehicles for testing, track and race events.
 
The Build & Test Team Manager will:

• Manage the preparation, build, and delivery of cars to ensure they meet the required specifications for all relevant test, race and marketing events.
• Lead and manage a team of test technicians, build technicians and mechanics to facilitate vehicle development and ensure car is fully prepared.
• Coordinate with test venues to book appropriate testing facilities, including generating risk assessments and other required paperwork.
• Ensure a consistently high quality of assembly by creating and maintaining standardized internal assembly procedures and build checklists.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering Design and Quality teams to implement these procedures effectively.
• Develop and manage comprehensive build plans for each vehicle.

 
The Build & Test Team Manager will:

• Gained significant experience in Race Team management or other high-performance vehicle build & test management.
• Possess extensive track experience, including hands-on involvement in race day activities and logistics.
• Ability to lead assertively and maintain authority while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Demonstrated strong team management experience.
