Senior Electrical Site Manager
Mech Electrics are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical works for the Manchester Airport Terminal 2 renovation project. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major renovation project, working within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Site and Project Management: Oversee all aspects of electrical work on-site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and standards.
Team Leadership: Manage and supervise the on-site electrical team, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective work practices.
Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Quality Control: Ensure all electrical installations meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Coordination: Liaise with other site managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical works with other construction activities.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, implementing effective solutions promptly.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, including any deviations from the plan, to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on large-scale building services projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and relevant industry standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field, along with professional certifications or licenses.
