P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Operations Support Coordinator to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Summary:

  • To ensure the company’s services provided are in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, assisting the Operations Manager and Contract Supervisor in the smooth running of the Operations Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effectively develop relationships with clients to support contracts.
  • Deputise for the Operations Manager and provide coverage for other contact supervisors when required.
  • Ensure all staff are working together to ensure effective contract delivery, both onshore and offshore, providing effective management.
  • Coordinate provision staff and material to fulfil contract requirements identifying workloads and setting priorities and working with internal departments and the Operations Manager.
  • Liaise with accounts departments to ensure all relevant paperwork for month end is complete and handed over within set deadlines.
  • Liaise with the Training and Competence Coordinator to ensure all personnel have the correct training and levels of competence.
  • Maintain accurate schedules and records for each client to aid business planning and ensure databases are populated with the correct information.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational improvement and cost effectiveness.
  • Work effectively with and supervise Operations Support staff to ensure work is completed to the right standard and meets timeframes required.
  • Work in accordance with the company’s quality management system and work safely at all times.
  • Work closely with the QSHE department to ensure policies and procedures are up to date and adhered to.
  • Provide quotes and prepare journals for invoicing in accordance with the company’s procedures.
  • Assist with proposals and tenders when required.
  • Drive continuous improvements in operations.
  • Ensure timely close out of on/offshore tickets to enable efficient invoicing and cash collection.
  • Participate in both internal and external audits.
  • Ensure a proactive company culture of efficiently effectiveness and accountability across areas of responsibility.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide out of hours emergency contact and on call support.
  • Other tasks, as required to fulfil requirements of role and provision of services to the client.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Competence in all aspects of administration and operations support.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
  • Good team player with sound interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of IT systems.
  • Ability to work alone and part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Must have a valid UK driving licence and current passport.
