• QS/PM or Associate (with potential to become a Partner or Director). 
• Full Time no work from home unless a reason dictates.

Quantity Surveyor: A bit about the Company

• My client are a Project Management and Quantity Surveying Practice based in Maidstone, Kent and represent clients and end users when they undertake contraction works.  They act as a single point of contact leading the team and working only on the Client Side of the project. 
• They began trading in 2012 and have steadily continued over the last 12 years, developing into a boutique type business with a set of required skills for their Clients.  

Quantity Surveyor: Is this position for you?

Are you a driven individual who has a passion for carrying out their role to the highest degree?. 

Here are a few essentials for the right person:

• Quantity Surveyor background and understand and perform, take offs and preparation of Bills or work schedules.
• Qualified to degree and professional qualification RICS ideally
• Literate in Excel, Word, Outlook and the like.
• Understand and read programmes
• Produce cashflows and cost reports including project budgets
• Able to manage meetings including minutes, actions plans, risk register, project execution plans  
• Client focussed
• Manage multiple projects
• Want to succeed and build their career to Director level

The Quantity Surveyor should have:

• Minimum 8 year PQE and able to demonstrate their experience
• A good understanding of the construction sector
• An understanding of contracts if possible
• Understand the role of the Contract Administrator or Employers Agent.

Works have been focused mainly on Kent but they are looking to develop the net outside of the Kent area

The business is a relatively small outfit with 5 members of staff operating within the team presently
