Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in project management within the construction or manufacturing industries, ideally with experience in metalwork or architectural products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain strong relationships and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and production staff, to ensure seamless project execution. Provide clear direction, support, and problem-solving to the team.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of work at all stages, ensuring that the final product meets the high standards expected by the company and the client.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction sector with a focus on ceilings/drywall/metalwork products.
  • Previous experience managing subcontracts, specifically NEC/JCT.
  • Previous experience with commercial management/awareness is highly desirable.
  • Hold a minimum NVQ6 or equivalent in Construction
  • Completed SMSTS (CITB: Site Management Safety Training Course) and hold CSCS Card (CITB-Black).
