Production Planner

£30,000 - £40,000/annum
A leading Manufacturing client based in the NG9 area are seeking an experienced Production Planner.
Duties:
  • Resolve Supply, Demand, and Capacity issues
  • Perform all capacity planning activities and coordinate output with all production areas.
  • Integrate Sales Orders with master schedule; coordinate availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and workers as needed to meet delivery dates.
  • Ensure all Work Orders and projects are properly documented and closed in scheduling systems.
  • Assess and implement ERP techniques needed to plan, schedule, control, measure, and evaluate the effectiveness of production operations.
  • Communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management team.
  • Track and manage inventory levels; establish safety stock levels.
  • Ensure the ERP system data elements related to the supply chain and planning are set to the correct parameters.
  • Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.

Key Skills:
  • Experience in planning and ERP systems experience, preferably Syteline (or other Tier 1 or 2 ERP system).
  • Excellent Microsoft Office programs knowledge.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience tracking production efficiencies and reporting statistics to management.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Excellent communication skills.

£30- £40k (dependant on Experience)
Mon - Fri 8.00-17.00 (2pm Friday Finish)
