In this role you will:
•    Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework.
•    Identify, assess, and prioritise risks across the organisation, implementing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
•    Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits/investigations.
•    Working with the legal department to develop and update the company’s risk and compliance policies, ensuring policies are well-documented, communicated, and embedded.
•    Prepare and present regular reports on risk and compliance. Clearly communicating risk and compliance issues to stakeholders.
•    Investigate the root causes of process failures or quality issues within the business.

 

About you:
•    Leader & Coach – lead, coach and oversee the professional development of the Risk function within Scania Great Britain.
•    Self-Motivated - You will be responsible for developing and leading a whole new department, driving its strategy, structure, and operations to achieve the company's goals.
•    Analytical - lead quantitative and qualitative analytical work to produce business insights and drive sound decision making on key business risk and compliance issues.
•    Influential – able to demonstrate sound business understanding and work with various departments to ensure quality standards are integrated across the organisation.
