Flux Consulting have partnered with a leading consultancy who are seeking a talented and experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a pivotal role in the development and success of the business.

The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to manage and lead a small team within the consultancy. You will take day-to-day ownership of 2-3 key client accounts, with the prospect of fully managing these relationships in the long term. You will work closely with a Director, who is also the lead Cost Manager, providing direct reports and support as you progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a small team, overseeing project delivery and ensuring quality standards.
• Take day-to-day ownership of 2-3 key client accounts, with a view to fully managing these relationships in the future.
• Work closely with the Director and lead Cost Manager, contributing to the strategic development of the business.
• Provide cost management services, including cost planning, value engineering, and risk management.
• Support the expansion into new sectors, particularly Data Centres, where experience would be an advantage.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and contribute to the development of existing client accounts.

About You:

• Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) with significant experience in cost management.
• Proven experience in managing client accounts and delivering high-quality services.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a small team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Experience in the Data Centre sector is desirable but not essential.
• Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to develop within the business and take on additional responsibilities.
