Advance TRS are collaborating with a leading tier one contractor in the Building and Civil Engineering industry currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their London team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a strong health and safety culture across all levels and with subcontractors.
  • Ensure safe working practices in compliance with legislation.
  • Review documentation and safe systems of work from subcontractors.
  • Assist in developing health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead and deliver health and safety initiatives and training.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal H&S Advisor will have:

  • Relevant professional qualifications in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH/NCRQ).
  • A proven track record as a Health and Safety Advisor in the construction/ civil engineering industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Experience in accident and incident investigation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Proficiency in IT and a valid CSCS Card.
