Production Supervisor

I’m recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join my Client who are based in Halifax.

This position is offered on a temporary to permanent basis.

My Client due to expansion is seeking someone who is proactive and dedicated to join their growing Operations Team.

Working closely with the Operations Manager you will ensure that the daily running of the production and operational elements is smooth within their manufacturing environment.

Duties

• Production Scheduling
• Creating and reviewing the production schedule, assessing the day’s production goals and adjusting the schedule where necessary to meet demands.
• Oversee and manage attendance and working hours for production operators, highlighting any patterns or anomalies.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery are in working order, organising maintenance where required
• Lead and Motivate -  lead by example maintaining a positive working environment to promote and achieve productivity, quality and performance.
• Identify any inefficiencies in existing processes and implement process improvements to increase productivity.
• Health & Safety - promoting safe working practices at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Production Supervisory experience – ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Someone who is a people person and engages with the Team
• Able to handle changing priorities and deliver instructions to the Team
• The role will involve being hands-on and needs someone who is a Team Player

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday (Monday to Wednesday 0700 – 1700 / Thursday 0700-1630)

Salary

Between £14.5 - £15.38 per hour based upon experience
