Learning Assistant and Wraparound Care / Sutton/ Out of London area

We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Assistant Level 2 or level 3 to provide support in the classroom and for wraparound care from 2.30pm -5.30pm.

You will encourage pupils in their learning and the acquisition of skills, to ensure the best possible student outcomes. You will also play a part in the provision of high-quality care for Prep School pupils between the ages of 3 and 11 at the end of the school day.

You will provide evidence of attainment in a recognised TA qualification i.e. NVQ, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC etc. You also will possess relevant experience in an educational establishment/setting, as well as demonstrable experience of establishing positive relationships and supporting children within a learning environment.

• Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Experience in supporting a range of activities, including homework assistance, is beneficial.
