CAD/CAM Engineer

The Opportunity:
 
Are you an experienced CNC CAD/CAM Engineer / Technician looking for a slightly different opportunity?  Our client is looking for a time served (or equivalent0 CNC Milling Machinist with excellent CAD/CAM skills (and ideally EDM knowledge) to undertake more of a Manufacturing Engineer's position. 

The Role:
  • To technically support production of high- quality product to customers’ requirements
  • To reduce process related scrap and rework
  • To implement and maintain best practice through all process engineering activities
  • Achieve cost effective production of components / Processes and qualifications
  • Program manage and execute engineering projects assignments
    Produce qualification reports and reports of scrap and rework analysis
  • Requirements:
  • Degree/HNC or equivalent in Engineering discipline - ideally Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Tooling design and/or CAD experience
  • Injection moulding and/or ceramics processing experience
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and ABS High level of computer literacy (Word/Excel/Project)
  • Ability to prepare and write reports.
  • Good judgment and decision making
  • Communication and Team working skills
  • Meticulous with good attention to detail

Working Hours:
Days only Mon – Fri 8-4
