Career Teachers are looking for an experienced HLTA to join the team at a Primary School in the London Borough of Greenwich.

The Role

The school are looking for an HLTA to cover classes through the school, during Teacher's PPA time.

You will be working with various classes each day, so flexibility will be key in this position. You will work in conjunction with the Class Teachers, to support them by delivering lessons in their absence, ensuring that there is no disruption to the childrens' learning.

In order to be successful in this position, it is essential that you have experience of covering whole classes. Ideally, you will have recent experience of working as an HLTA within a Primary School setting.

You may have a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification, but this is not essential. The experience of doing a similar role will be key.

A good knowledge of the Primary curriculum, across the Key Stages, is also needed in order to be successful in this position.

The salary on offer ranges from £95 to £125 per day.

This mainstream Primary School is based close to the Plumstead area. They have an excellent team of staff, who work hard to ensure the best outcomes of the children.

The children you will work with come from a diverse intake, with a wide range of abilities and needs, including those children who have Special Educational Needs.
