The Role
 
As a Programme Manager, you will have the primary responsibility for overseeing the whole building projects team. You will manage a diverse range of projects from inception to completion and handover.
 
Your role will involve managing a team of multi-disciplinary staff, ensuring adherence to the master programme, and effectively communicating progress against the baseline.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with internal commercial and procurement teams to ensure master programme milestones are achieved. Additionally, you will oversee external consultants and contractors throughout all RIBA Plan of Work stages, ensuring ongoing projects are delivered to the correct quality standards, safely, on time, and within budget.
Providing clear, accurate, insightful, and timely reports to the Delivery Lead and escalating issues where appropriate will also be crucial aspects of your role, and managing risk and opportunity for the combined organisation and the wider business will be a key responsibility.

What we are looking for in you?
 
It is essential to hold an industry recognised qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. degree or equivalent in a Construction related discipline. It is also key to possess a Full UK Driving Licence.
 
To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record in project leadership, managing multidisciplinary teams on construction and FM contracts. You should have experience delivering construction projects with the highest Health and Safety standards and the ability to critique construction drawings and specifications. Preparing project scopes, programmes, and reports, as well as managing contractors and design consultants to develop project design solutions on a wide range of projects, will be essential. Proven experience with PFI/PPP operational contracts and a good working knowledge of IT, including Microsoft Word and Excel, are also required.
 
You should also possess strong time management and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and achieve multiple objectives concurrently in a pressurised environment. Good IT skills, a proactive approach, and a natural disposition to lead, mentor, and teach are also crucial.
