Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £35k- £45k

Position Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee thier production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing/production, with a proven track record of improving efficiency, ensuring quality, and leading a team to achieve ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department, ensuring that production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands.
- Monitor production performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that materials and supplies are available when needed, without overstocking.
- Analyze production data and generate reports for senior management, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and MS Office Suite.
