About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivatedProcurement Manager with data centre fit-out construction industry experience to work in Dublin. Fully remote and outside IR35 Salary depends on experience and suitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals and timelines.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs to ensure the project remains within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured materials and services meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or data centre industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
