Principal People are excited to be recruiting for a Group Electrical Safety and Compliance Manager to join a highly established utilities and power organisation who are seeking a passionate and innovative leader to join the safety team. This role will require UK wide travel as required and is to pay £70-75k + Package.

The successful Group Electrical Safety and Compliance Manager will be required to utilise a people focused approach whilst demonstrating their leadership capabilities for this progressive organisation.

The successful Group Electrical Safety and Compliance Manager will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the business in ensuring overall Electrical Safety compliance
  • Maintaining and developing all electrical external accreditations and management systems
  • Maintain written policies and procedures across the whole scope of business operations
  • Develop new documentation and processes as necessary
  • Undertake technical audits
  • Undertake client meetings working alongside DNO’s
  • Assist in business tendering
The minimum requirements for this role are:
  • Educated to HNC or equivalent but Degree level preferred
  • Have strong electrical safety/compliance experience and working with DNO’s
  • Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) (desirable)
  • Incorporated or Chartered Engineer (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of Smart Metering and BS7671 (Desirable)
  • Hold a Safety Qualification such as NEBOSH
  • Be flexible to travel to UK wide locations with occasional overnight stays
  • Be and engaging and communicative individual able to liaise at all levels
