Title: Seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for Exciting Cabling Project in South London

Introductory paragraph:
We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a contract basis. Our client is working on an exciting cabling project located in South London, which requires the expertise of someone who has worked with NEC 3 or NEC 4 before.

Job description:

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Managing all costs relating to projects from inception through completion
- Conducting feasibility studies for new construction projects
- Preparing tender documents such as bills of quantities and pricing schedules.
- Analyzing data related to costs incurred during each phase of the project lifecycle.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will possess most if not all these qualifications/skills below;

-Relevant degree/qualification (preferably RICS accredited)
-Proven track record within Construction/Civil Engineering industry preferably having dealt with Cable Projects,
-Knowledgeable about building regulations & legal guidelines surrounding property development including environmental regulation compliance requirements etc.,
-Familiarity using standard computer software tools like MS Word, Excel& Powerpoint specifically those used by QSs e.g., CostX or Bluebeam Revu Software),
-Capacity for analytical thinking skills combined w/excellent numerical accuracy abilities - required when preparing financial reports/budget analysis summaries;

Location: The role is based in London United Kingdom;
Type Of Employment : Contractual Basis ;
Schedule/Working Hours : Part-time hours only (3 days per week) ,
Rate/Pay Scale Offered £500/day - OUTSIDE IR35
