PRODUCTION MANAGER

PERMANENT ROLE

BRADFORD, M606/HALIFAX BASED

SALARY CIRCA £40k AND BENEFITS PACKAGE

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage there engineering production operations. The production manager will have a proven track record in production management within the engineering industry (or similar) and possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a keen eye for efficiency and quality.

The production manager will lead and mentor a team of 40 across welding, laser operations, machining, fitting and goods in. You will have the assistance of the deputy production manager, you will help mentor and empower your team and create a self motivated team.

The production manager will work closely with the operations manager and general manager to analyse and improve production processes, looking at efficiency, costs and quality using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

The production manager will work closely with the production planner and procurement manager ensuring the smooth running of production, while also controlling stock.

The production manager will possess the usual attributes, strong leadership, problem solving, excellent communication skills across the whole business, and the opportunities within this role to develop are many.
