We are seeking a passionate and experienced tutor to join our team, providing one-on-one academic support to primary and secondary aged children in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will teach core subjects, helping pupils develop their understanding and confidence in their studies

Job Type: Contract
Pay: Starting from £22 per hour
Hours: Flexible, Part-Time

Location: Sessions take place in the child's home, at a local library, or in the child's school, depending on preference and availability in the Chelmsford area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in core subjects (e.g., English, Math, Science) to individual students.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet each pupil's learning style and educational needs.
  • Provide support with homework, test preparation, and general academic improvement.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience tutoring or teaching primary or secondary-aged children.
  • Strong knowledge of the core curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
