Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager required to join a leading engineering manufacturer based in Redditch.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will initially be office-based for training, with the intention to transition working remotely, covering the UK with some international travel, focusing on developing key accounts and generating new business opportunities for precision engineered products such as electrical rivets, press tools, bi-metallic products and similar.

The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will ideally come from any sales, customer service or technical background with full training being provided, however having previously sold a product, engineering solution or a background working in a engineering environment is beneficial. Full product training provided.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Role

• Will initially be office-based for training, with the intention to transition working remotely, covering the UK with some international travel, focusing on developing key accounts and generating new business opportunities for precision engineered products such as electrical rivets, press tools, bi-metallic products and similar.
• Maintaining new mechanical engineering / precision engineering sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
• Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.
• Office based near Redditch for training period.

 
Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Requirements

• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Representative or similar within engineering would be advantageous
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress into a sales roles are strongly encouraged to apply.
• A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
• Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering company.
• A technical knowledge of engineering products is preferred. Full product training provided.
• Office based near Redditch for the initial training period.
• Full clean driving license.
