We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a specialist civil engineering contractor based in Hampshire. The business has an outstanding reputation and are specialists up and down the country in marine construction and civil engineering which includes port expansions, sea walls, boat lifting facilities as well as working with local authorities and private clients.
They undertake projects as both a principal contractor and subcontractor working with some of the UK’s largest contractors as well as carrying design and build projects up to £5m.
They are looking for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor who is going to be a part of the growth of the business, with potential to develop into a Commercial Lead for the company.
Key Duties:
- Cashflow forecasting for individual projects and the business unit
- Manage a team of different level Quantity Surveyors and lead future recruitment
- Assist with pricing work and work winning strategies.
- Lead commercial meetings in relation to contractual matters
