Fabric Engineer

Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking a Maintenance Painter to work within a Hospital environment in Dartford

This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a team committed to delivering Hard Services Facilities Maintenance within an NHS Estate environment. 

Role Summary: 

As a Fabric Engineer, your main role will be to carrying out painting works within wards, communal areas, offices, break out areas and washrooms as well as carrying out general building maintenance tasks. This role requires a positive person, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain walls, including striping back, patch work and painting.
  • Supporting the wider engineering team with HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing tasks as required
  • Assisting the Fabric team with replacing / repairing doors, easing locks, replacing / repairing skirting boards
  • Ensure risk assessments are available and ensure safe working practices with consideration for the environment and others' safety.

Requirements:

  • Good all round building maintenance experience
  • Painting experience
  • Previous experience within a hospital environment beneficial
  • DBS Standard check required
