Portfolio Analyst - £300.00 per day - Inside IR35 - Primarily remote with occasional attendance to a site in Gloucester - contract until 31/12/2024 with 12 month extension in the new year.

My client, the UKs largest producer of zero carbon energy, is looking for an experienced Portfolio Analyst to join them on a contract basis. 


The Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for providing support to my clients project portfolio, ensuring the alignment of projects with business objectives. The role requires strong experience in onboarding and recruitment. Prior use of MS Project and Project Server/Online advantageous. The ideal candidate will hold a PRINCE2 qualification or a similar certification such as ISEB/APM.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring a smooth integration into the project environment.
• Provide support/guidance to the Project management community using MS Project and Project Server to plan/manage/track project progress, resources, and deliverables.
• Analyse project data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Support hiring managers with recruitment, ensuring the right talent is brought on board for project needs.
• Support the triage of new work requests, understand demand, agree resourcing and enable re-charging of effort.
• Ensure all projects are aligned with strategic business goals and objectives.
• Facilitate meetings and track action items and follow-ups.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience with MS Project and Project Server.
• PRINCE2 qualification or a similar certification such as ISEB/APM.
• Strong experience in onboarding and recruitment processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role within regulated industry.
• Familiarity with additional project management tools and software.
