The School and Role

This ‘Good’ primary school, based in South Tyneside are looking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to work in an EYFS class on a part time basis. This will be a role where the EYFS Teaching Assistant will be providing general classroom support across both Reception and Nursery and delivering phonics sessions following ‘Read, Write, Inc’ scheme. This school has a supportive senior leadership team and believes in a strong school community to work together and support all individuals.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with low attainment
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
• Level 2 minimum TA qualification
