Cover Supervisor - September Start 

Location – Lewes, East Sussex 

Contract – Part-time, Long-term 

About the School:  

Supply Desk are working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in Lewes with a strong recent tradition of high attainment and outcomes for students. They are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to deliver engaging lessons for across Key Stages. This is a flexible role, ideally seeking someone with long-term, part-time availability. 

About the role: 

This is an opportunity for someone to deliver cover lessons to a high standard across all year groups and Key Stages. You will be contributing to the school’s excellent academic performance, with lessons that deliver on the National Curriculum and the school’s commitment to providing multidimensional learning. The school are looking for candidates with thorough and up-to-date knowledge in their subjects, good classroom management and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.  

The ideal candidate will: 

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus. 

• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools. 

• Be a committed and adaptable team player. 

• Proven track record of high attainment in results. 

• Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content. 

• Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills. 

• Enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom.
