Role Overview

SNS Recruitment’s client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Practitioner to join their Assessment Team in Hereford, Herefordshire. This role is crucial for contributing to the improvement journey of their services, ensuring that children and young people receive the best possible support and care.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Support: Provide high-quality assessments and support for children and families. Ensure that children’s wellbeing is prioritized and that their needs are met effectively.

Team Development: Work closely with managers to enhance team development. Offer coaching, mentoring, and training to apprentices, step-up students, and other team members.

Practice Improvement: Lead on practice development and training initiatives within the service. Assist in implementing practice standards, quality assurance frameworks, and organizational policies.

Professional Growth: Support and engage in ongoing professional development. Stay informed on the latest research, statutory guidance, and best practices. Share knowledge through training sessions, e-learning, and other methods.
